Orlo Robert “Bob” Best was born Aug. 16, 1920 to Orlo Perl Laram and Bess Marguerite Melton Best. He died July 21, 2006 and is buried in Ames Municipal Cemetery, Ames, IA.
Sgt. Best served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps.
