Sgt. Fred Bendinger

Sgt. Fred Bendinger, son of Mrs. W. M. Langford, 2401 Wall Street, is a member of a signal service battalion which was awarded a meritorious service unit plaque for “superior performance of duty and the achievement and maintenance of a high standard of professional and military proficiency.” Sgt. Bendinger entered service in August, 1942 and went overseas January 22, 1943.
