Goyo Baskis was born May 9, 1921 to Felix and Mary Avina Baskis. He died June 17, 1944 and is buried in Normandy American Cemetery, Colleville-sur-Mer, France.
Pvt. Baskis served in World War II with the U.S. Army 12th Infantry Regiment, 4th Infantry Division and was KIA in France and awarded the Purple Heart.
