Fred Maurice Barnett was born Mar. 3, 1923 to William M. and Eva Claire Wetrich Barnett. He died Feb. 11, 2003 and is buried in Mountain View Cemetery, Mesa, AZ.
Lt. Barnett served in World War II with the U.S. Army Infantry. He was awarded the American Theater ribbon, Asiatic-Pacific theater ribbon, and World War II victory medal.
