Truman Wendell Barnes was born Apr. 18, 1914 to Harry and Minnie Barnes. He died Sept. 20, 1944 and is buried in Lorraine American Cemetery, St. Avold, France.
Pvt. Barnes served in World War II with the U.S Army 134th Infantry Regiment, 35th Infantry Division and died of wounds received in action in France.
