Glen Richard Bappe was born May 26, 1911 to George Thomas and Minnie Ream Marquart Bappe. He died Feb. 6, 1990 and is buried in Story Memorial Gardens, Ames, IA.
Sgt. Bappe served in World War II with the U.S. Army in the European Theater of Operations and was awarded the Bronze Star.
