Edward Wayne Bush was born Aug. 30, 1918 to Edward Samuel and Ruth Viola Wheeler Bush. He died Apr. 14, 1945 and is buried in Mount Hope Cemetery, Battle Creek, IA.
Lt. Bush served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 567th Bomb Squadron, 389th Bomb Group and was KIA aboard a B-24 bomber near St. Augustine, France in a mid-air collision/bombs from another group falling from above passing through the B-24 formation.
