Virgil Richard Buntenbach was born June 30, 1925 to William Seward and Christina Johnson Buntebach. He died Apr. 15, 1968 and is buried in Graceland Cemetery, Webster City, IA.

Virgil served with the U.S. Army in World War II.

RITES WILL BE SATURDAY FOR VIRGIL R. BUNTENBACH

Funeral services for Virgil R. Buntenbach, 42, who died Monday due to an auto accident near Denver, Colo., will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at First Methodist Church.

Rev. Rollin G. Oswald will officiate and burial will be in Graceland Cemetery at Webster City. Anderson Funeral Home is in charge.

Virgil Richard Buntenbach was born June 30, 1926, at Williams, the son of William and Christina Johnson Buntenbach. He married Marty Flatchman at Denver, moving there in about 1960. He was a painter. Mr. Buntenbach was a member of the Methodist Church, the Elks, the American Legion and a veteran of World War II, in the Army.

Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Kathy and Karleen, both in California, and Christy, at Denver; one son, Richard, in California; three stepsons; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Buntembach of Iowa Falls; two sistes, Mrs. Harold Laugerman of Webster City and Mrs. Roger Thielen of Belmond, and two brothers, Harley of Chicago, Ill., and Harold of Iowa Falls.

He was preceded in death by one brother in infancy, and another brother, Donald, killed during the Korean Conflict.
