Eugene R. Brown was born Mar. 7, 1922 to Willis Herman and Nellie Ina Phillips Brown. He died Dec. 2, 1942 and is memorialized at the Tablets of the Missing, North Africa American Cemetery, Tunis, Tunisia.

Sgt. Brown served in World War II with the U.S. Army 168th Infantry Regiment, 34th Infantry Division and was MIA/FOD/KIA in North Africa and was awarded the Bronze Star and Purple Heart.
