S/Sgt. Donald A. Bradley

S. Sgt. Donald A. Bradley, son of Mr. and Mrs. T.R. Nettleton, 2419 W. Fourth Street, has been awarded the oak leaf cluster to his previously won air medal for “Meritorious achievement” while participating in bomber combat operations over Germany and enemy occupied Europe. Sgt. Bradley, ball turret gunner on a Flying Fortress, based at an Eighth air force station in England, is a member of the 91st bombardment group, veteran heavy bomber unit of more than two and one-half years’ service in the European theater. Sgt. Bradley recently took part in the group’s 315th aerial assault. Sgt. Bradley was graduated in 1943 from Central High School and joined the air force in October 1943.
