Oliver Joseph ‘Joe’ Boylan was born Nov. 10, 1925 to Oliver and Margaret Rose Murphy Boylan. He died Jan. 2, 1975 and is buried in Cass Center Cemetery, Webster City, IA.

Pvt. Boylan served with the U.S. Army in World War II.

Joe Boylan, 49, of Radcliffe, a former longtime Webster City resident, died late Thursday afternoon at the Veterans hospital in Des Moines where he had been a patient only a short time. He had been in ill health the past three months.

Time and place of services will be announced later by the Foster Funeral home.

He is survived by his wife, Alice, and several other close relatives.

He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Boylan.
