Lloyd E. Booth, son of Mr. and Mrs. L.R. Booth, 4049 Harrison Street, is receiving his basic army training at Camp Polk, Louisiana.

Lloyd Eugene Booth was born June 15, 1924 to Lloyd R. and Marie Bennett Booth. He died Feb. 16, 1945 and is buried in Memorial Park Cemetery, Sioux City, IA.

Pvt. Booth served in World War II with the U.S. Army in an armored division of Patton’s Third Army and was KIA in the Battle of the Bulge near Burg Rueland, Belgium.
