Roger Hartley Blewett was born Mar. 6, 1924 to Hartley J. and Hazel H. Blewett. He died Dec, 9, 2009 and is buried in Elm Ridge Memorial Park, Muncie, IN.

Lt. Blewett served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps as a B-29 bomber pilot. He was involved in 10 raids on the Japanese mainland. The last mission occurred only a few hours after the atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima.
