Johannes J. Bergman was born Mar. 15, 1914 to Temmo Meyer “T. M.” and Augusta Wilhelmine Henze Bergman. He died Sept. 2, 1944 and is buried in Oak Hill Cemetery, Parkersburg, IA.
Cpl. Bergman served with the U.S. Army Troop A, 113th Cavalry in World War II and was KIA at Cantaing, France.
