Army liberated prisoner of war,
Japan—Pvt. Clifford Gorsett, husband of Mrs. Gayle Gorsett, 29, Correctionville Road, Sioux City.

Harold Ernest Bell was born Oct. 19, 1920 to William Louis and Martha Friedericka Block Bell. He died Feb. 21, 1945 and is buried in West Bend Cemetery, West Bend, IA.

Pvt. Bell served in World War II with the U.S. Army 376th Infantry, 97th Infantry Division and was KIA in Germany.
