ENDS FURLOUGH.

A letter from Mrs. B. E. Beard, now living in Des Moines, brings news that Pvt. Norman Armstrong has just returned to Camp Livingston, La., after a ten-day furlough at home. He is now attached to the headquarters company of the 341st Inf. Regiment for further training in ammunitions and pioneering. His address is: Pvt. Norman Armstrong, 341st Inf. Reg., APO 450, Camp Livingston, La.

Pfc. Norman Armstrong who has just returned from action in Germany is home on a 30 day furlough and is visiting friends in this city. He will report to Camp Grant, Ill., July 23. Armstrong is a member of the 86th division which is being transferred as a unit to the Pacific theatre.

Norman Lee Armstrong, son of Bernard W. and Rhoda Broholm Armstrong was born May 4, 1925. He died Feb. 17, 2009 in Carlinville, IL.
