Marion Conrad Anderson

 

 

 

Marion Conrad “Pinky” Anderson was born Mar. 16, 1917 to Carl J. and Anna M. Peterson Anderson. He died Jan. 22, 1996 and is buried in Harbor Lawn-Mount Olive Memorial Park, Costa Mesa, CA.

Marion served in World War II with the U.S. Army 750th Tank Battalion in the European Theater, participating in the Rhineland Campaign and Ardennes Campaign in the Battle of the Bulge and received two Bronze Battle Stars. He also received the Purple Heart for wounds received in Germany.
