Lt. Robert Edward Allred

 

 

Robert Edward Allred was born Oct. 27, 1915 to Henry Loran and Mary J. Corbett Allred. He died March 22, 1944, and is buried in the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Honolulu, Hawaii and memorialized at the Walls of the Missing, Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines. Lt. Allred’s remains were recovered and identified and in 1983, he was permanently interred in Hawaii. His name is permanently inscribed in the Philippines.

Lt. Allred served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 19th Bomber Squadron, 22nd Bomber Group, Heavy and died in the crash of 42-41081.
