Warren A. Allen was born Feb. 8, 1919 to Albert and Theodosia “Theo” Marie Coie Allen. He died June 6, 1944 and is buried in Normandy American Cemetery, Colleville-sur-Mer, France. He has a cenotaph in Tingley Cemetery, Tingley, IA.
Sgt. Allen served in World War II with the U.S. Army 112th Engineer Combat Battalion and was MIA/KIA on D-Day and was awarded the Purple Heart.
