Men And Women In Service
Norman Agathon, former police reporter for The Journal, who now is with the 20th armored division at Camp Campbell, Kentucky, has been promoted to the grade of technical sergeant, on a three-day leave in Chicago recently. Sergeant Agathon visited Dan Desmond, former Journal sports editor, who now is employed in the sports department of the Herald-American.

T. Sgt. Norman Agathon, former Journal reporter, has been transferred from the 20th armored division to the Army War college in Washington, D.C. He has been working on the staff of Gen. Stillwell and is now assigned to the public relations staff of Gen. J. L. Devers.
