Private George Williges, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry G. Williges, 2016 Summit Avenue, has been transferred from Fort Snelling Minnesota to Camp Wolters, Texas.

George G. Williges, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. G. Williges, 2016 Summit Street, who spent three years in service as combat engineer, recently received his honorable discharge at Camp McCoy, Madison, Wis. and now is home. He served in the American and European theaters of war and his decorations include campaign ribbons for those theaters and two battle stars for combat service during four months overseas. Before the war he was a student at the University of South Dakota, Vermillion.
