Pfc. Howard C. Wells

 

NOW IN ENGLAND

Stationed in England since February, 1944, Private First Class Howard C. Wells, has been in service since September 24, 1942.

Howard was inducted into the Army at Des Moines and was sent to Camp White, Oregon, for his basic training.  After two months at Camp White, he was transferred to Vancouver, Washington, where he was stationed before being sent overseas.

He is in the medical corps, and is with the seventy-sixth general hospital corps.

Howard’s wife and five-weeks old son, whom he has never seen, are living with Mrs. Well’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dick VanHorn.  Howard’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Clark Wells, of Greene.
