Pfc. Merton Weiner, who is stationed at Wendover field, Utah, is spending a 10-day furlough with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Archie Weiner, 714 17th street.

Cpl. Merton Weiner, stationed in the Mariana islands with the 390th air service group, 509th composite group, informed his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Archie Weiner, 714 17th street, that it was his group that dropped the atomic bombs on Japan.  Cpl. Weiner received his communications training at Wendover field, Utah.  He has been overseas about six months.
