IN CADRE
Corp. Wilbur Walz, who was recently transferred from the 616th Ord. Amm. Company to the 22nd Ord. Maint. Bn. For two weeks cadre training, is leaving today from Camp Breckenridge, Ky., for Camp Forest, Tenn., where he will be in a cadre, helping start a new battalion—the 316th Ord. Maint. Bn. He has been with the 22nd on Tennessee maneuvers. His future address will be: Corp. Wilbur F. Walz, Hqs. 316th Ord. Maint. Bn., Camp Forest, Tenn. Corp. Walz is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Walz.

Wilbur Louis Walz was born Apr. 4, 1917 to Frank A. and Ann Bernholtz Walz. He died Apr. 25, 1994 and is buried in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Carroll, IA.

Sgt. Walz served with the U.S. Army in World War II.
