Larchwood, Ia.—Pfc. Harold D. Vosburg of Larchwood is returning home from the Fifth Army front in Italy after more than three years service overseas. Vosburg is a supply room worker in the 34th military platoon, a unit of the 34th “Red Bull” infantry division. He is returning to the United States on furlough after participating in the Tunisian and Italian campaigns. He is the son of Mrs. C. H. Vosburg of route 1, Larchwood.

Harold Dean Vosburg was born Jan. 2, 1917 to Clint H. and Ruth E. Johnson Vosberg. He died Feb. 6, 1989 and is buried in Larchwood Cemetery, Larchwood, IA.
