Pfc George M. Sullivan

The body of Pfc. George M. Sullivan, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Sullivan of Corning, arrived in San Francisco April 3, aboard the United States Transport Honda Knot. The body will be transferred to Kansas City through the Graves Registration Center and later brought to Corning for burial. George was killed in a plane crash at Natal, Brazil in February, 1942

George M. Sullivan was born Mar. 9, 1920 to William George and Margaret Katherine Gross Sullivan. He died Feb. 7, 1942 and is buried in Calvary Cemetery, Corning, IA.

Pvt. Sullivan served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 43rd Bomb Group (H) and was killed in a plane crash at Natal, Brazil.
