Returning Service Men Arrive
From European Theater

More northeastern Iowa service men are reported aboard ships that have docked at east coast ports during the last few days.

From the Pacific theater reported aboard the Admiral Rodman that docked in San Francisco Oct. 3:

Waterloo – Pfc. William T. Stark, 402 Black Hawk road.

William Theodore Stark was born Aug. 4, 1906 to James D. and Lena Nissen Stark. He died May 1969 and is buried in Memorial Park Cemetery, Waterloo, IA.

William served with the U.S. Army Engineers in World War II.
