Sgt. Cletus N. Simons

 

 

Sgt. Cletus N. Simons, 20, was slightly wounded in action Jan. 3, in Belgium, where he was serving with a paratroop division, according to word received by his mother, Mrs. Josephine R. Simons, of 236 Edwards street.

Sergeant Simons, who left for overseas duty in the latter part of November, 1944, received his paratrooper’s wings and booths at Fort Benning, Ga.

Two brothers are also in service: Cpl. Robert B. Simons, of the army engineers, and Staff Sgt. Donald B. Simons, member of a tank battalion, both serving in France.
