WOUNDED

Seaman 1/c Jack Sever, 19, who is home on a 30-day leave, visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank O. Sever, 124 Hunter avenue, was wounded April 3 in the left leg when the minesweeper he was attached to struck a floating mine. He has been in the navy two years. He was a student in the Abraham Lincoln high school in 19434 when he enlisted in the navy.
