Sgt. Frank G. Schlezes

 

 

 

IN UNIFORM

Sgt. Victor E. Junker, whose wife lives at 615 Ninth street, and Sgt. Frank G. Schlezes, son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Schlezes, 210 S. College street, are members of the first fighter squadron in the Eighth air force to destroy 300 enemy planes, according to a news story from an Eighth air force fighter station in England. Both Sgt. Junker and Sgt. Schlezes are members of the ground crew, serving as aircraft armorers. Both sergeants have been in England since November, 1942.
