Pfc. Wayne E. Sanow and his wife arrived in Remsen Thursday morning from Douglas, Wyo., Pfc. Sanow having a 14-day furlough.

Wayne Edward Sanow was born Aug. 16, 1922 to August F. and Emma A. Koerner Sanow. He died June 4, 2005 and is buried in Marcus-Amherst Cemetery, Marcus, IA.
