F1/c and Mrs. Edwin L. Sammons returned last Tuesday to New York City after spending an 11-day leave here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Price and with relatives and friends in Sioux City. F1/c Sammons will be stationed at Norfolk, Va., and Mrs. Sammons will return to her employment in New York City.

Edwin Lawrence Sammons was born June 4, 1920 to Claud and Bessie Nielson Sammons. He died May 12, 2005 and is buried in Kennebec Cemetery, Castana, IA.
Edwin served with the U.S. Navy in World War II.
