MEN and WOMEN IN SERVICE
Corporal Arne Rostad, son of Mr. and Mrs. Chris Rostad, 1517 24th Street, has been transferred from the Stewart Technical School in New York to the Lincoln supercharger specialist school, at Lynn, Mass.

Cpl. Arne Rostad, son of Mr. and Mrs. Chris Rostad, 1517 24th street, has received the good conduct medal for “exemplary behavior and fidelity in the service of the United States.” He is a mechanic on an Eighth air force P-47 Thunderbolt. He was educated at Central high school. His wife lives at 2924 14th street.
