Cpl. James F. Reid, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alex Reid, 621 Hornick avenue, was expected to arrive at Jefferson Barracks, Mo., after 26 months in the European theater of operations. He was then to be given a furlough.

Cpl. James F. Reid has completed a 21-day furlough with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alex Reid, 621 Hornick avenue, and is on his way to Santa Ana, Cal., where he will be reassigned.  Cpl. Reid, who also visited his son, James, was overseas 26 months, stationed with an engineer corps in Iceland.
