PFC Edward Lee Reddick

 

 

 

RECIEVES WINGS—Mr. and Mrs. George Reddick, route 6, have received word that their son, PFC Edward Lee Reddick, has completed a gunnery training course at Kingman Army Air Field Flexible Gunnery School, Kingman, Ariz., and has been presented his silver gunnery wings.

This advancement was based upon his physical, educational and moral qualifications, his attention and devotion to his studies during his training at this station. 

Pvt. Reddick entered the service in May and recently spent a furlough here.  He is now located at Tampa, Fla.

Edward Lee Reddick was born May 10, 1926 to Winnie Reddick.Clifford He died Oct. 17, 2011 and is buried in Chattanooga National Cemetery, Chattanooga, TN.

Edward served with the U.S. Army Air Corps in World War II as a lower ball gunner in a B-17.
