Lt. Clinton L. Prestien

 

 

PRESTIEN FOUND JAP PRISONER

Lt. (jg) Clinton L. Prestien, former Waterloo resident, who was reported missing in action since the latter part of June while serving as a Navy pilot in the Pacific, is now listed as a prisoner of the Japanese.

He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Prestien, Pomona, Cal., who formerly resided at 738 West First street, Waterloo. His wife and son live in Dallas, Tex.

Lieutenant Prestien is a graduate of West high school and Gates Business College and has been overseas since early this year with Rear Adm. John Price’s fleet air wing I of the Okinawa tactical air force.
