Brothers Visit Home

Lester, Ed and Elmer Peters, all in training at different camps, are visiting their sister, Mrs. Roy Bohnsen, at Rockwell, while on furlough. Lester (at left) is training in Bangor, Maine, where the brothers met recently and had the above picture taken. Cpl. Ed Peters (center) was a Camp Devens, Mass., and Sgt. Elmer Peters is at Camp Edwards, Mass. Ed has been transferred to Camp Campbell, Ky.

Edwin Joseph “Ed” Peters was born May 17, 1907 to Harry and Nettie Bertha Sharn Peters. He died Apr. 21, 1974 and is buried in Memorial Park Cemetery, Mason City, IA. 

Sgt. Peters served in World war II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 32nd Photo Reconnaissance Squadron.
