Reburial Services
for Soldier Monday

Reburial services for Pvt. Richard J. Pearce, former Waterloo resident, who was killed in action while serving with the army in Italy, will be Monday at 9:30 a. m. at Ft. Snelling National cemetery, Minneapolis, Minn.

He was born May 8, 1920, in Waterloo, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis C. Pearce, and was a graduate of West high school in 1938.

Private Pearce entered the armed forces Dec. 9, 1942, and was killed in action Feb. 8, 1945.

Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Pearce of 208 23rd avenue, N. E., Minneapolis two sisters, Mrs. Jane Hunt, Davenport, Ia., and Mrs. Louise Cruson, Byron, Ill.
