Recently promoted to his present rank, Comdr. Edward F. O’Brien has been stationed at Eniweick in the Marshall islands for more than a year as a legal officer in the United States Navy. A resident of Sioux City, he was engaged in law practice with the firm of Baron, Caine & O’Brien here. He also is a past president of the Sioux City Bar Association. In letters to friends here, Comdr. O’Brien reported having seen several Sioux City men pass through Eniweick, which is a station for traffic to the Pacific war fronts. He met Lt. John W. Keane of the United States Navy, formerly of Sioux City, when he passed through the station.
