Mt. Auburn—After spending most of his 41 months in service in the ETO, Spencer Norwood, who had earned 126 points, had been discharged and is with his parents at Sarasota, Fla. They will remain there until spring, then return to their home here. Spencer has received eight battle stars, the Presidential unit citation with two clusters, Invasion Arrowhead, Bronze Star Medal, Good Conduct medal, Purple Heart, Combat Infantryman’s badge and the French Croix de Guerre.
