RECEIVES WINGS
Douglas Neve recently received his wings and the rating of staff sergeant at the lamesa army air base in Texas. S. Sgt. Neve is the son of Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Neve, 2322 Avenue C. He graduated from Thomas Jefferson high school in 1942, and has been in the service since April of this year.
