Lt. Eugene C. Mueller

 

TO BE GRADUATED

Mr. and Mrs. I. F. Mueller have received word that their son, Eugene C. Mueller, an aviation cadet of the army air forces, will be graduated from Selman Field in Monroe, La., on Dec. 23. He will arrive here for the holidays. Mr. Mueller is an instructor at Thomas Jefferson high school.

Upon graduation Mr. Mueller will be commissioned as a second lieutenant in the army air forces.

BOMBARDIER COURSE

2nd Lt. Eugene C. Mueller is now taking a course in bombardier training at the army air force training command station at Roswell, N. M. Lt. Mueller has just recently completed a course in navigation at Selman Field, La., Lt. Mueller is the son of Mr. and Mrs. I. F. Mueller, 2222 Avenue C.

Lt. Mueller Is Listed as Dead

Lt. Eugene C. Muller, who was reported as missing in action on Oct. 24, 1944, has now been officially declared as dead, according to word received here by his wife, Mrs. Maxine H. Miller Mueller, 2926 Avenue C, from the war department.

Lt. Mueller was a navigator-bombardier on a B-25 which participated in a mission from Maran, Assam, India, to Maymyon, Burma.

Besides his widow, he is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. I. F. Mueller, 2222 Avenue C, and a brother, Gordon R. Mueller, Panama canal zone.
