Cpl. Steven Mouw

 

 

ON MANEUVERS IN LOUISIANA

Corporal Steven Mouw is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Mouw, living west of Sioux Center.  He has been in the U. S. Army since last September and was stationed at Fort Bliss, Texas, with the cavalry prior to leaving on maneuvers for some time.  Corp. Mouw first entered the Army at Camp Upton, New York, and was then transferred to Camp Lee, Virginia, before going to Texas.  Prior to his entrance into the Army, he had been working on ranges in Calif., about four years.  You may send mail to Corp. IN UNIFORM

First Sgt. Steven Mouw is stationed in China, his wife and daughter Florence who live at 717 Jackson street, have received word.  Sgt. Mouw is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Ben B. Mouw of Sioux Center.  Sgt. Mouw went overseas from Camp Roberts, Cal., in August, 1944.  The letter received from him Monday was the first for eight weeks.
