Cpl. Marvin E. Moen, 1414 26th street, is listed with the Iowa men with the army First corps under Maj. Gen. I. P. Swift, who took part in two major operations which cut off an entire Japanese army and advanced Gen. Douglas MacArthur’s forces more than 1,000 miles nearer the Philippines, and the current invasion of Luzon.
