WHEREABOUTS
George O. Emmert, son of B. F. Emmert, route 2, was enlisted in the U. S. Navy on March 6, according an announcement by W. G. Burris, Jr., recruiter in charge of the Mason City navy station. Recruited at the same time from the local station and also accepted for navy enlistment was Norman L. McPhall, Little Cedar.
