Sgt. Leslie J. Mathers, 3703 Stone avenue, arrived by plane September 29 at Miami, Fla., and was sent immediately to a separation center. Sgt. Mathers served overseas 19 months with 777th bomb squadron and the 464th bomb group, army air forces, in the European theater of operations, in Italy, and in British Guiana. He has received seven battle stars, unit citation and the oak leaf cluster.
