Former Spirit Lake Dentist
Receives a Navy Commission
Lieut. (s.g.) Darrell Marker, of Columbus Junction, former Spirit Lake dentist, received his commission in the United States Navy Dental Corps, and left last week from his home for San Diego, Calif., to report for duty.
Lieut. Marker practiced dentistry in Spirit Lake before going to Columbus Junction several years ago. His wife, the former Ann Henderson, sister of Mrs. J. R. Bevins, is remaining for the time being in Columbus Junction with her two sons.
