Ensign Harold (Dutch) Luchtel

Ensign Harold (Dutch) Luchtel, son of Mr. and Mrs. F. H. Luchtel, left for Corpus Christi, Texas, Wednesday night. He was enroute back to the naval air base there, for reassignment. The local youth, the first naval pilot from Milford to receive his wings, was graduated at the Corpus Christi school late in February.

Harold Joseph “Dutch” Luchtel was born Jan. 8, 1925 to Frank Herman and Theresa Katherine “Trace” Lemker Luchtel. He died Feb. 12, 2011 and is buried in Valley of the Sun Mortuary and Cemetery, Chandler, AZ.
