DUANE A. LINDSEY OF MERRILL NOW A SECOND LIEUTENANT

Corpus Christi, Tex.: Duane Arthur Lindsey, son of Mr. and Mrs. Art Lindsey, Merrill, graduated July 22 from the naval air training center, Corpus Christi, and was commissioned a second lieutenant in the U. S. Marine corps reserve. He is a former student of the University of Minnesota.

Duane A. Lindsay, 2nd Lt. U.S.M.A.S., has just arrived at a S.W. Pacific base. He recently completed his 500 hours flying time, the last 100 hours being in the F4V Corsair, the Navy’s popular fighter pursuit plane. He is Materiel Officer of his Marine Squadron. He last training was at El Centro, Cal.
