Two Wilton Men Serving In Italy Meet By Chance
Two Wilton young men, Staff Sgt. Francis William Atkinson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl E. Atkinson, and Sgt. Tom E. Lange, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. F. Lange, met somewhere in Italy a short time ago, according to word received by their parents.
The two Wilton boys, who were pals prior to the war, are located just eight miles apart in Italy, the parents have been informed. They met, however, by chance as they were coming out of a movie.

Tom Elwyn Lange was born Dec. 28, 1922 to Henry C. and Elizabeth Sohsen Lange. He died Oct. 19, 1993 and is buried in Oakdale Cemetery, Wilton, IA.
Tom served with the U.S. Army Air Corps in World War II.
